ABOUT
Nicole Gauvin
JEWELER AND ARTIST PAINTER
Following an artistic career that spans more than forty years, and encompasses drawing, painting and engraving, Nicole Gauvin has turned her energies towards creating unique pieces of fine artistic jewellery. This art form allows her to expand on the ideas she continues to explore in the other three spheres. Indeed, the process is much the same: combine or juxtapose materials and textures, as well as forms and colours, to give life to a piece that one can wear or display as an exquisite and aesthetic work of Art. The flexibility and variety of metals that Nicole employs such as gold and silver, stones, pearls, woods, plastics and other natural materials provides Nicole with infinite possibilities to explore and create. Materials that come from Nature inspire Nicole to create an intimate work where the patron who wears it becomes the foremost participant in creating a statement of individual distinction.
